The 1914–15 Star is a campaign medal of the British Empire which was awarded to officers and men of British and Imperial forces who served in any theatre of the First World War against the Central European Powers during 1914 and 1915
Bravery in The Field (Gallantry Medal) Made Of Silver
Issued for acts of bravery during the First Word War. The medal reverse depicts the crowned royal cypher over the words "FOR BRAVERY IN THE FIELD" all within a laurel wreath.

The Victory Medal (United Kingdom) was issued to all those who received the
1914 Star

, and to most of those who were awarded the

. It was not awarded singly.
Also Included are initial research information and copies of the medal issue papers. It is believed F. Millar may have changed his name and Regiment number at one point also going as SJT G. Millar 132222 but more research is needed.
