    Ernest Duncan Emery
    was born in Powassan, Ontario, Canada in April 1897. He served during the Great War with the 54th Battalion (Kootenay), Canadian Infantry on the Western Front. He married Emma Burke in 1930 with two offspring and he passed away in 1964. He is buried at Dorchester, Ontario, his residence was Craigland, Ontario.
