    Frank was born in Malton, Yorkshire on 14 Nov 1892 as a son of Daniel Yates and Mary Emma Yates (Law). Frank had 3 sisters and 4 brothers. All 5 sons served during the WW1. Before the Great War, he became a Shoemaker Apprentice in Malton.
    Frank served in Egypt from 30 Jun 1915.
    Discharged 21 Apr 1919. Lived Railway View Norton Malton Yorkshire. Later Keighley (?).
