Vintage “Discovering America by Car” Booklet!
This softcover booklet was published by the
New York News
with the
American Petroleum Institute
. It is identified as the
1967
edition. The booklet is 24 pages and measures about 8⅝” x 5⅜”. The book features ten scenic and historical motor trips to
“Relive American history amid the natural beauty that surrounds New York City”
. The road trips are around New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. The booklet even includes the original mailing envelope from the New York News! As shown in the photos, the booklet is in very good condition with very little cover wear. The booklet is complete and remains securely stapled from its cover to its centerfold. It has nice clean pages with no writing, creases, rips, or tears. Only the front cover has yellowed a little with age as shown. This vintage New York area travel guide would make a great addition to your collection!
