    Lieutenant E. E. Farnol, Royal Field Artillery; 1914-15 Star (Lieut: E. E. Farnol. R.F.A.); British War and Victory Medals (Lieut. E. E. Farnol.) Ernest Edward Farnol served with the Royal Field Artillery during the Great War in West Africa from 30 July 1915. Discharged sometime in 1917, was subsequently refused a SWB. Married to Mary Catherine Maitland, they resided at Dragon's Green, Shipley, Sussex, they had children together, can be found on ancestry.
